First Death with Dignity in WA

Yesterday, Washington state had its first death under our new death with dignity law. It was a 66-year-old woman with stage four pancreatic cancer.

I'm happy for Linda Fleming's ability to control her final days, and proud of the State of Washington for making it possible. We are wayyy past due for death with dignity laws across the U.S.
